Development stopped years ago, so Weebly’s templates look dated next to current sites, and its editing is limited to a rigid set of blocks. People move when the site starts to look older than the business behind it, or when they want changes the builder cannot make. Older sites need more polish

Your domain is either registered through Weebly and Square or at a separate registrar. Either way it is yours: you keep it and repoint it rather than buying a new one. Confirm you can sign in and reach the DNS settings before you switch — and if Weebly’s wind-down covers your country, transfer the domain to another registrar before account access ends on December 26, 2026.

Making the change
