Custom Domains

Every website on Outlyne has an outlyne.com/sites/{your-website-slug} URL it can be published to. In addition, you can associate any website with a custom domain, such as your-website-name.com.

Here are the steps to use a custom domain for your website:

1. Log in to your DNS provider (e.g., Namecheap)
2. Find the custom domain you want to use for your Outlyne website and look for a link or button to “Edit the DNS” or for the ”DNS Records” for that domain
3. Add a DNS record with the type “CNAME”
4. In that new DNS record, set the HOST to www and set the VALUE to sites.outlyne.com.
5. Return to outlyne.com and open the Publish dropdown or your website settings
6. Add the custom domain (including the www. prefix) as the domain for your website
