The Zhouyi (Changing) is a compendium of history and a source of poetical and scientific images that has been passed down for at least 2500 years. In that time it has acquired a profound, if cumbersome, set of later Chinese commentaries. The Daodejing (Observing), also referred to as the "Laozi," was given that name over 2000 years ago in the area of the world now known as China. It has been important to and influential for governments, religions, philosophers, hermits, alchemists, military commanders, merchants and strategists of all kinds. Available individually and as a boxed set.
The Butterfly Book: A Workbook for the Practice of Shamanic and Path Dreaming and the Dao of the Night, invites us into our relationship with the dream-world, a source of fascination for all cultures and peoples throughout human history. Path Dreaming, practiced as presented by Liu Ming, breaks down a three fold approach to enter into the directly available and non-dual experience of birth, life, death, and our true Nature (Dao).
Liu Ming wrote Facets: An Inner Journey Through Asia while traveling throughout Asia in the early 1980s. He intended it to be a "pillow book," a book of observations and musings in the Japanese tradition — or, in Western parlance, a memoir. He shared draft versions with his friends in the 1990s, but decided against making it available more widely. As he approached his death in early 2015, it was time to revisit that decision.
